About Art Matter Local: In 2025, we are delighted to introduce our new initiative, Art Matter Local, which focuses on contemporary art and sustainability. We will examine how art and nature can help to create a sense of local presence and community with an eye to social well-being, climate and ecology.
Art Matter Local is a three-year pilot project that works with contemporary art, nature and communication in Denmark's outlying municipalities. In 2025-2027, we will work closely with three selected municipalities each year to create a series of engaging and relevant art experiences in locally based art festivals that bring contemporary art closer to local citizens.

Flower Drop is a performance by Molly Haslund that she first showed in June 2021 during the Den Frie Morgen (the Free Morning), a programme in which Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art (Den Frie Udstillingsbygning) invited a number of artists to perform in the area around Oslo Plads (Oslo Square)
