Infinite is a participatory performance that invites a community to walk together on the beachfront of La Union, marking its Asian premiere. First performed in Denmark in 2023, https://www.mollyhaslund.com/infinite this iteration features Danish artist Molly Haslund and Filipina choreographer Ea Torrado as they lead participants in walking a 100-metre infinity path in front of Leeroy New’s Mebuyan installation.
In Denmark, Haslund transformed a simple infinity sign into a living artwork, animated by the footsteps of participants. Hundreds of locals joined, turning the walk into a shared, evolving sculpture. In La Union, Infinite will retain this essence, while embracing Filipino traditions of unity and cooperation, reflecting the spirit of sama-sama and bayanihan.
The infinity symbol, representing endless connection and continuity, invites community members to actively participate, making this collective journey a celebration of togetherness and cultural connection
